Since today was my last day i decided to the aquarium this morning because I knew it wouldn't take very long before my tattoo appointment across the city. So i decided to rent a bike and ride over to the London Bridge since we didn't get a chance to see that yesterday when we were touring around. It was great and I am glad that I did even though it was a longer ride than I wanted to do first thing in the morning lol.

After the aquarium i walked back to my hotel which was about a 30 minute walk and ate lunch in my room. I decided to rent an e-bike instead of a regular bike for my long ride across town to Portobello Road where the tattoo parlor was located. The e-bike is always way easier to ride than the regular bike for obvious reasons lol. It was about a 30 minute bike ride from my hotel room to the tattoo parlor so it was very easy with the electronic motor assist. I was also able to stop by and see Keningston Palace which i didn't see when i was staying on that side of town at the beginning of my trip.

Since this wasn't my first tattoo i knew exactly what to expect from the experience so i brought my noise cancelling headphones. I am very glad that i did because it allowed me to be in my own little world during the session. The pain wasn't too bad since i got the tattoo on the outside of my calf but it did take right at about an hour. I am very happy with how it turned out and I am looking forward to getting more flowers eventually. I chose a Geranium because i love the Wild Geraniums that I have growing in my yard and there is also a species that looks almost identical found here in the UK. She did an amazing job converting the picture i sent to her into a great tattoo.

Tomorrow my flight back leaves around 12pm london time and lands in Charlotte around 4 pm eastern US time. Its a 7 or 8 hour flight even though it doesn't look like it lol. I am ready to get home and get things back to my normal routine for sure.
