Today i had to get moving early and make my way to the train station by 9:00 am for my train back to London for the last leg of my trip. Since i got to London pretty early in the day, around lunch time, i was able to wander around and see some things even before checking into my hotel. I found a big comic book and collectibles store and decided to check it out since it was pretty close to my hotel. The number of people inside that store when i got there was crazy. I think there were about 200 people inside this store, and it wasn't even that big of a store lol. This area of London is close to all the shops and tourist places where the place i stayed last time was in a quieter part of the city. Also since it was Sunday it seems everyone was out and walking around in London today while i was walking from the train station toward my hotel.
I found an Irish Pub to have dinner at since I needed to have some Fish and Chips during my UK trip and that was an experience in itself. I ate dinner ate the bar but there was an important football (soccer of course) game on the "telly" in the bar and everyone there was completely invested in the game. So when there was a goal everyone in the bar would shout and celebrate, it was great lol.
I also found out that there is a comedy bar right down the road from my hotel so i decided to check it out since it only cost 1 pound to get in. I had never been to a comedy bar before so i sat in the way back so i didn't have to worry about the comedian talking to me or trying to get me to add to their routine. I met some americans from Indiana that were at the comedy bar as well so that was pretty cool. The comedians were: Stephen Bailey, Tiana Edwards, and Loyiso Gola (who was the celebrity guest of the night). It was a pretty awesome experience even if the music between the sets was way too loud for my tastes.
Tomorrow i am meeting one of my oldest and best online friends to go check out some of the London tourist traps and hang out for the day. I can't wait! Be ready for a ton of pictures (no selfies here though XD) of the typical london things tomorrow!
