Today i only had until around 2 pm to see some things on the island before my ferry was scheduled to leave. So instead of going too far i decided to take some of the antique rail cars that the island runs to tourist locations. Yesterday i rode the steam engine to the southern part of the island and they have 3 other systems: Horse Tram, Electric Railcar, and Electric Summit Railcar. Luckily my hotel was only a 30 minute walk from the station which made things very simple this morning. I ate breakfast and left my bags in the hotel while i rode the trains.

The first train i took was the Electric Railcar toward Laxey where I caught the Mountain Summit Railcar to the highest peak on the Isle of Man. There was a cafe at the summit where i bought "famous" raisin scone as a snack. I really wanted to ride on the Horse Tram but when I got back to Douglas they were going on their lunch break and i would have had to wait like 45 minutes so i decided to just take a picture and start walking back to the hotel to pick up my bags.

The ferry ride back to Liverpool as rough but luckily it went smoothly anyways and i found my hotel for the night. Tomorrow my train back to London leaves at 9:30 so i will have an early start to get to the station which is across town. Getting toward the end of my vacation and I am ready to get home to my dogs and cats!
