Today i decided to try out some different modes of transportation instead of walking and riding the tube everywhere like i did yesterday. So i Downloaded the apps for some of those rental scooter and bike companies. Decided to try an e-scooter which was right down the road from my hotel but then found out that there was one that had 100% battery a few blocks away, so guess what! more walking lol. I got to the e-scooter parking and paid the 2 pound fair to start it up and off I went to the Zoo. My hotel is only like 3 miles from the zoo so it was the perfect distance to ride an electric scooter. Unfortunately i couldn't park the scooter right at the entrance so i had to walk a bit from the parking area to the zoo entrance but that wasn't too bad.

Once inside the zoo i had to stand inside the gift shop air conditioning so i could cool off from the heat. I was able to wander around and see all the exhibits with a lunch break in the middle and some breaks in the shade. Check out the pictures to see some of the animals.

The London Zoo is located in Regent's Park which is one of the Royal Parks in london so after the zoo I decided to wander around the park a bit. I rented a bike from one of the apps i downloaded for 1 pound since my feet were killing me from walking around the zoo so much. Definitely was a good break from walking for a bit. I found the lake where they have rental paddleboats and also an orchestra was playing in a pavilion at the park. Once the wind picked up the temperature definitely felt much more tolerable than yesterday.

Tomorrow i will be riding a train to Haverfordwest which is in Wales and seeing the western coast of England! Should be much cooler tomorrow with weather finally changing for all of the UK this week.
