Today i had some time to do some laundry this morning before i needed to be at the ferry port at 11:00 am. I happened to meet someone from Pittsburgh at the laundromat which was cool! She recognized my accent was from America right away, I have a hard time picking up on accents so i usually don't recognize where they are from as easily as other people do.

The ferry ride from Liverpool to Douglas, Isle of Man was uneventful and i was very glad it went smoothly after yesterday's long day. Once i got to Douglas i found my hotel and then wandered around a bit to get some snacks and supplies for my hike tomorrow along the coast. It started raining almost as soon as I got out of my hotel but i was ready with my umbrella since i expected some rain during my trip. I found a nice place for dinner and planned my trip tomorrow to Port Erin which is on the souther point of the island.

I found out that Isle of Man has a steam train route that is from the 1800s so i am going to take that back to Douglas tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait! Hopefully i will get to see a bunch of birds and wildlife on my hike tomorrow so stay tuned for pictures posted tomorrow when i get back to the hotel.
