Today i caught a bus from Douglas to Port Erin which is at the southern point of the Isle of Man. Similar to the hike i did near Haverfordwest, this public walking path went right along the cliffs and was amazing scenery! Believe it or not, these cliffs were more beautiful that the ones i hiked around the other day. Some of the pictures I took look like postcards; its hard to believe that I was just hiking there today. Birds i saw today: Oystercatchers, Fulmars, Gannets, Cormorants, gulls of course, Peregrine Falcon, some species of Buzzard (which is like our hawks in the US, not a vulture), White Wagtail, European Goldfinch, and some others i can't remember right now.

After the hike i walked down a one-lane road back to Port Erin so i could catch the steam engine train back to Douglas. Isle of Man has some refurbished antique trains around the island including one that is a horse drawn tram. I really wanted to ride that one but they are not running right now because of road work in the area. So i opted to ride the Steam Engine today instead of taking a bus back to Douglas. It was definitely a novel experience that I am not sure i will ever get to do again!

Tomorrow i have all morning to explore before my ferry ride back to Liverpool at like 4 pm so i will be trying to find something to fill that time for sure.
